A journey made for savouring

From the moment you check in at Brisbane's Rivermakers terminal, the pace shifts. Your first afternoon on board is spent settling into your cabin as the train winds south, before arriving at the coastal town of Coffs Harbour for a beachside dinner unlike any other. Picture drinks and canapés on the sand at Charlesworth Bay, followed by a seafood feast paired with local wines, all to the sound of a live band and the tide coming in.

Choose your own adventure

Each day on board brings a choice of Off Train Experiences, so you can shape the journey around what you love most. Wine lovers can spend a day among the vines of the historic Hunter Valley, tasting Semillon and Shiraz before a long lunch at Twine Restaurant, while those who'd rather be on the water can explore Port Stephens by 4WD across the Stockton Bight sand dunes or by boat, keeping an eye out for dolphins. History and city lovers might prefer a walking tour through Newcastle instead.

Further south, you'll choose between a long lunch among the vines of Victoria's Moorabool Valley, or a full day in Melbourne, taking in the National Gallery of Victoria, a behind-the-scenes tour of the MCG, and sweeping city views from Melbourne Skydeck.
